UFC NEWS – UFC Adds Wiman vs. Bocek To Return Trip To Montreal

An intriguing lightweight matchup has been added to UFC 145. According to UFC officials, both Matt Wiman and Mark Bocek have agreed to face each other in the UFC’s return trip to Montreal.
UFC officials announced the pairing this afternoon.
UFC 145 is still yet to be officially announced by UFC officials but it is expected to take place on March 25 from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
The always tough Wiman was last seen taking out Mac Danzig at “UFC Live: Cruz vs. Johnson”. It was a rematch that ended all talks of a controversial victory in their previous matchup. The win marked bounced him back from a tough fought loss at the hands of Dennis Siver at UFC 132 and gave the former TUF alum his fourth win in five outings.
Stepping in against Wiman will be none other than Canadian resident, Mark Bocek. Bocek was last seen coasting to a decision victory over Nik Lentz using superior grappling and top control. The win bounced him back from a crushing defeat at the hands of number-one contender, Ben Henderson.
Since entering the UFC in 2007, Bocek has only tasted defeat at the hands of Frankie Edgar, Mac Danzig, Jim Miller and the aforementioned Benson Henderson making his overall record with the promotion 6-4.
