And I’d prolly be willing to put money on most of those!!!!!!!!!!!!
In all reality, this must be the weakest ppv in recent memory.
Totally agree with jerry… Not worth
a dime
yep pretty weak
Wow, your calling a card weak before it even happens? Some MMA fans you are. Jose Aldo, one of the top P4P fighters in the world. Vitor Belfort, one of the most devestating strikers in the UFC. Anthony Johnson, one of the most promising fighters. Paulo Thiago, TKO’d Koscheck. Just because you dont like any of the fighters on the card does not make it weak!
i think its cuz these fighters are not household names, but they all look like pretty good matchups to me, i think this card will be good
the overall card is kind of weak but i will pay just to see aldo… i think he can carry a card on his own…
this happens more than you think… think about the gsp cards or some of the silva cards… they were the only draw really… if gsp can carry a card then i think its no question that aldo can also carry a card
The card is weak for a PPV event. IMO the UFC tries to put on too many PPV events, and at fifty bucks a pop you can’t fault a guy for calling it weak w/o the big names on it.
With the exception of the main event, none of these fighters have done enough to move from the free tv cards to the PPV main card. In addition this main event should be a co-main event with a bigger fight in the upper weight classes as the premier fight because a dedicated fan, or someone who trains MMA, might appreciate the technical proficiency of the two lightest divisions, most UFC fans have still not embraced them.
I have no incentive to purchase this other than the fact that I am an MMA fan, and with a card such as this I am sorely tempted to skip this one to watch one of the other promotions to get my “fix”.
For Brazilian fans this card is amazing, I’m not as excited for this card as I am for the Japan card but hey Aldo and Belfort are some of the best in the business.
Agreed only 2 potentially decent fights – Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes & Vitor Belfort vs. Anthony Johnson.
Johnson over belfort
Look out for Erick Silva dudes a beast.
Agreed
Mendes Bitches
Winners: I think
Champ Jose Aldo
Vitor Belfort
Rousimar Palhares
Erick Silva
Edson Barboza
PRELIMINARY :
Sam Stout
Paulo Thiago
Stanislav Nedkov
I’m getting shit faced at Hooters for this one!
Which one il’l see u there.
only good fights are the belfort vs. johnson and aldo vs. mendes rest of the card looks like crap but you never know it could turn out to be one of the sickest?
This card is weak. Only 3 fights worth watching
It’s kind of sad that veterans like Pyle and Thiago are fighting prelims.
Have any of you even seen Erick Silva or Barboza fight? These dudes are the future of Brazilian mma. This will be a great card.
According to some people, if the fighter doesn’t have a household name, they’re not worth fighting. True MMA fans, I guess…
Not really sure as to where I can place Barboza in my rankings. He’s an exciting fighter, but he hasn’t fought anyone from the upper echelons of the lightweight division. A win over Etim will have me convinced.
Erick Silva, I only remember him from that flash knockout from UFC Brazil. C
This card licks ass !
hope massenzio beats up jackass palhares, mikes actually a VERY bad matchup for toquinho…massenzios never been taken down and has better strikes…i call the upset
