Just done paying for all the these Payperviews, just seems like UFC is just bleeding its fans dry. I hope Diaz submits the Cowboy and The Reem KO’s WWE Brock Lesnar
Quit your bitching go to a bar wstxh it for free God ****ing forbid you might have to pay for entertainment
easy killer, bars cost money to. You must have a nice cushy job asshole!!!!!
Waaaa, waaaa, waaaa. Quit your whining,
dumbass just watch it online for free lol
Same shit as usual. I’m HOPING for the non-shittalkers to shine like mop & glow tonight, but I’m realistic in my expectations.
Overeem’s takedown defense had better be on point tonight, ’cause Brock’s lookin’ hungry. I hope we don’t see another Strikeforcer get dropped like 4th period french tonight (Not that I minded watchin’ Wand give Le some free Rhinoplasty lol)
Cowboy needs to step it up deliver some hurt to Diaz. He needs to get decisively shut up tonight for all the dumb shit he’s been pulling.
Shit just got real.
I doubt Overeem will be standing for long. As much as I’d love to see Lesnar KO’d, I think the chances are slim..
reem will ko lesnar almost instantly. Its not like hes fighting junior dos santos.
It’s not like Brock is fighting Cain.
strikeforce couldnt even find anyone good enough to give reem a legit fight. Im glad hes in ufc now. Le never really fought anyone all that great and Im not surprised he didnt know what to do with someone like wand at this point.
He had one hell of a first round but what kind of training did he use for conditioning? Eating hamburger? He was so out of shape and shouldn’t have taken Wandy so lightly. But you live and you learn. Maybe he will give it another go when he’s done in Hollywood.
Fkn Fools! Overeem is going to give Brock a replay of Cain only worse! The Cowboy is going thug slap that bitchass punk from the ghetto! Period!
what happened rachel??? looks like the exact opposite.
Donald Cerrone all day…..knock out that ****i’n diaz……don’t like his atittude……Diaz brother’s are damn retard……..
Said the person who says “****i’n”, “atittude” and “are damn retard….”
I think what you meant was: “****in’,” “attitude,” and “are damn retards.” Also, “…” will suffice, there’s no need for “……….” (although this seems to vary from 5-7 depending on different points, which I’m certain is for some very logical reason.)
Kelly your a dumb ass! UFC doesn’t need fans like you!
And the las ppv events have been crazy good so your a MORON!
Overeem will gas out after the 1st just like Carwin and any round that Brock survives after the first rd his odds of winning are going to increase because of his awesome cardio. If he manages not to do anything too
-stupid then he can wrap it up earliest in the 2nd or third but I highly doubt these HW will go to decision unless they are afraid of each other. Brock by submission.
I will eat my crap my crap on this one. =]
too bad Overeem won eh? ahaha you dumby!
LOL!!!!!
Cerrone better whip up on diaz. overeem will tko brock in the 2nd round fitch will lose by descion
Damn I fell asleep through the prelims good thing I didn’t miss anything exciting
Can anyone email a stream link?
Today i decide to put $225 to win $100 on John Fitch and the mother ****er whos crying for top contenders gets KTFO. At least its the first ****ing fight fitch finished ina while LOL…
Not a Fitch fan, but was shocked as shit to see him get KO’d! Thought he was gonna find a way to grind out another slow, painfully boring decision.
I was so surprised too!!! Now we know why he lays and prays. The next two years are going to be hell for GSP!
If he can even hold the belt for 2 years. He got some hungry savages jus waiting for a shot at that belt, and with guys like Hendricks, Ellenberger, Diaz, Condit, and even Kos, leading the charge, good ‘ol Georges better keep his game tight!
All you Diaz haters gonna have to keep on hatin’ cuz Diaz boxed the shit outta the Cowboy! Awesome fight tho! Those boys came to scrap!
It was the best fight on the main card. It actually looked similar to Bisping vs Mayhem I wonder if he also had an adrenaline dump. He was sluggish and lacked accuracy. I give my props to Nate for handing an ass whupping and doing something out of character by showing class after winning. He may have gained a fan.
My first thought was adrenaline dump, but then, if you think about it, that couldn’t be it because he was getting his lights boxed out right from the bell, before he even had a chance to do anything that woulda caused that quick energy dump. Like both fighters, wanted Diaz to win, but expected Cowboy to pretty much bully him in the standup. Nate handled his biz! I think he’s just getting that much better
What about going into a fight high on anger? Anger increases adrenaline. I really have no idea what adrenaline dump is but the Cowboy was not in the building.
Maybe he simply underestimated Nate. I don’t know what it was, but I’ll be honest, Nate dominating Cowboy on the feet like that surprised the shit outta me! Whatever it was, he’ll come back better. Big ups to Nate.
It’s also possible that Nate got in the Cowboy’s head and threw him off; made him have a bad sleep or super nervous…? who knows, he just looked really slow compared to his previous fights.
Why does eveyone just assume nate has no class, mabee cuz this was his highest profile fight n noone has payed attention, but from what ive seen and can remember hes shown that same class after every fight. After his last fight he went on and on bout how much of a champian gomi was…
I can only surmise how they are from their interviews. If thug is the image they put forth, then how is anyone supposed to think otherwise? Nate and Nick have my respect.
you know dat! nates hands were hella crisp tonight. cerrone held it down. he looked very out of it in the first. i honestly didnt think nate was gunna dominate so hard in the stand up. im very sad to say this but that fight kinda reminded me of the BJ/Nick fight. both Diaz’s boxing was sharp and relentless. always have mad love for BJ, and I’ve become more of a fan and have more respect for the Diaz bros because in a way both the Diaz bros and BJ have somewhat similar styles. they are all dangerous with their hands, and their BJJ is world class.
and the diaz bros are capable of being classy. that “attitude” shit is all hype! yall need to quit trippin and recognize game.
Preach!
I was betting on the Cowboy but damn Diaz was the MAN!!! These two came out and gave everything and made the overpriced ppv worth it. Awesome awesome fight. I hope Dana puts Diaz against the winner of Hendo and Edgar cause he truly deserves it.
i kinda wanna see him fight one more person before he gets a shot at frankie. he should go up against a wrestler.
Trying to stand with Overeem?! Really, Brock?!
His stand up looked mediocre at best. He didn’t learn from Cain’s mistakes for Pete’s sake.
Shoulda threw a couple punches to keep Reem wary of his hands, then started committing to td shots. Think he woulda got better results, but what do I know?
I agree with that @Green; the fight was hyped as being a battle of styles…so wtf was Lesnar thinking trying to stand with Reem? Keep the hands up and frickin shoot. With what he was doing I knew it was just a matter of time before Reem picked his shot.
It almost looked as if Brock was trying to prove that his standup got better, and he wasn’t afraid to stand wit Overeem. After seeing 30 seconds of that shit, I knew Brock wasnt gonna make it out of the 1st
I think your right, but not too bright on Brocks part. The only ground he could cover on a K-1 champ with 69 fights is to keep his hands up just long enough to do ANYTHING BUT stand with him.
I agree with that strategy but he really didn’t get a chance to recover from that TKO. This card was weak sauce!
so hyped boys!! happiest Ive been in a while watching a ppv… THE REEM!! although I was a bit worried, anyone notice overeem coming in without throwing strikes? worried me abit at first… prob just me lol
he was prolly waiting for brock shoot for a takedown. reem took control of the pace and dominated.
Wheres all the diaz haters??
Nothin to say?
I picked nate at 2:09 in the
second by sub, figured cowboy would get sick a takin that rata tat tat stocton slap in the face, take him down and get choked out; but ill give it to him he kept it standing and took that woopin like a man.
All bs aside tho – GREAT FIGHT
cool story bro!
Ne-one got an opinion on Cerrone’s decision to walk away when he booted Diaz in the head? He clearly had him off his shit, but instead of running him down he just let him up. Same with all of the thai kicks; he could’ve put himself in side control on a few of those. Ne-ways just wondering? Props to Diaz though, his hands were wicked.
mainly i think cerrone only wanted to duke it out with nick standing.
That’s ballsy of him considering the amount of punishment he was taking. Diaz was clearly the better striker.
Going into the fight, I think Cowboy was a little over confident on his feet, and once he was clearly getting beat there, started losing confidence in his ground game and felt that keeping it standing was pretty much his best option
I think Cowboy gassed himself somehow and tried to get points by sweeping his opponent. He was too weak and slow to challenge Nate in his BJJ so he kept it standing, a shimmer of hope.
I can see that with the sweeps, Nate would have been in good shape if they hit the ground, but the boot in the head was clearly different; I think he should’ve blasted in on that one (at least). Calling a guy that’s kickin your ass back to his feet…? ballsy but not a good plan.
Whatever happened, he never recovered from whatever that was. He’s not Frank Mir, he can’t snap limbs on auto pilot! Lol I actually thought he was waiting to daze Diaz himself before he implemented a ground game plan. But Nate has a better chin. People in the bar were getting rowdy at the fact that he wouldn’t challenge Nate with grappling but his chances were better standing. He was landing some good kicks though.
prolly didnt want to get choked out, he was already daized and weakend by nates striking which woulda put his ground game of point, esspecially against nates bjj.
bet he was just as shocked as i was seein they scored his sub game even wit diaz on the prefight tale of the tape or whatever they call it
Cowboy didnt take diaz on the ground because EVERYBODY knows the Diaz Bros. and their LEGENDARY GUARD.
their guard is a frying pan!
Cowboy would’ve got triangled or armbar-ed.
In case you didnt know:
According to Compustrike, Diaz out-landed Cerrone 258-66, a statistic clearly indicative of the way the fight unfolded. Diaz connected on an astounding 82 percent of his shots, going 258 of 314.
Lol I bet Cerrone will think twice about doing Surfing and Pro Bull Riding in addition to MMA.
LOL and half you fools thought cerrone was going to give it to Diaz. Learn MMA, his striking doesnt even compare to the Diaz’s boxing. When will you people learn that their striking is superior to most. Nick has proved this over and over.
Cerrone vs Diaz 2!! cerrone didnt look like cerrone last night!! bring it on diaz ”nut huggers”!
…CERRONE LOOKED HORRIBLE ! In fact, it was embarassing. Cerrone made the WEC look like the minor league (be glad that Bendo represents). Cerrone doesn’t deserve a rematch. He should fall to just above Stout or Tibau. Jackson’s camp was looking pretty good lately until this fight. oh well…
