UFC NEWS – UFC 141 Betting Lines: Overeem And Cerrone Favorites Tonight

We can sit here and debate these matchups tonight until we are blue in the face. But between having your fan favorite and doing your own variation of MMA Math, tonight’s UFC 141 pay-per-view event is stacked with many intriguing fights that are hard to call.

We’ve done our poll for the week; we’ve weighed in on the UFC’s year-end-event tirelessly over the last few months but the one thing we haven’t touched on is who the Vegas odds makers are putting their money on.

Surprisingly, or maybe not surprisingly depending on who you ask, Brock Lesnar is the underdog going into tonight’s fight and so is Nate Diaz.

Check out these odds, from Betus.com and if you ask me, the smart underdog wagers are on Hettes, Lesnar, and maybe if you’re a hardcore gambler, Vladi over Gustafsson.

Brock Lesnar +125 vs. Alistair Overeem -155
Nate Diaz +200 vs. Donald Cerrone -260
Johny Hendricks +190 vs. Jon Fitch -240
Vladimir Matyushenko +250 vs. Alexander Gustafsson -350
Jim Hettes +180 vs. Nam Phan -230
Junior Assuncao +250 vs. Ross Pearson -350
Anthony Njokuani +150 vs. Danny Castillo -180
Sean Pierson +300 vs. Dong Hyun Kim -400
Efrain Escudero +200 vs. Jacob Volkmann -260
Luis Ramos +100 vs. Matthew Riddle -130
Manny Gamburyan +200 vs. Diego Nunes -260

  1. Donnybrook says:

The lines look good but I don’t think Cerrone should be so heavily favored.

  2. 808 says:

I don’t understand the betting odds for Phan and Hettes. On what premise does Phan have the advantage in this fight?

  3. Phalen says:

I’m with Pedro on the Hettes fight! Those are tasty odds on that one!
On the Lesnar vs Overeem fight tho…I’ve been so excited leading up to this one that I can’t say either way. Just that the chip on Brock’s shoulder seems a little bigger this time and he looks hungry as ever. But then something tells me that overlooking the overwhelming experience difference between them is foolish. But then again, The Reem seems to be supremely confident. Maybe too much…….
    SEE! I can’t pick!

  4. SanSooRob says:

We’re all the diaz haters at ?????

  5. luke says:

I bet on diaz and tripled the betting money, although I also bet on Lesnar which i was tentative to do in the first place
