UFC NEWS – UFC 139 Weigh-In Results

Today’s UFC 139 weigh-in ceremony took place in front of a packed audience at San Jose’s HP Pavilion. Starting at approximately 4 p.m. local time, all fighters tipped the scales and made their bouts official for tomorrow night’s pay-per-view event.
UFC 139 is set to take place on November 19th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. With the original heavyweight title fight headliner between champ Cain Velasquez and Junior Santos moving from UFC 139 to UFC on FOX 1 the organization has decided to go with a non-title affair between Dan Henderson and “Shogun” Rua as the evenings featured attraction.
In a highly anticipated main event, former UFC champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will face off with former PRIDE and STRIKEFORCE title holder, Dan Henderson in the second ever five-round non title fight held by the UFC in which the winner makes a strong case for a title shot in their division.
The co-main event is an intriguing matchup between two strikers, both dangerous in their respective arts. On one side of the cage you have the Sanshou based Cung Le and on the other side will stand Muay Thai wrecking machine, Wanderlei Silva. Silva finds himself in a must win situation and after several disappointing performances he likely faces the unemployment lines with a loss.
In other contests, Urijah Faber takes on Brian Bowles in a bantamweight bout that will put the winner in line for a shot at divisional champion, Dominick Cruz and to open up the night a welterweight slugfest between top contenders Martin Kampmann and Rick Story is expected to deliver fireworks.
All fighters made weight for tomorrow’s UFC event except for Shamar Bailey. Miguel Torres and his opponent Nick Pace. See the detailed results below:

Huh? A lot of guys not making weight? Who? What are you talking about?
Oh, my bad. Mydamn iPad was giving me some kind of funky screen, but once I reset it I could see the fighters weights besides their name instead of having to look at the bottom of the page
Man P-Money, you don’t play. I was watching the weigh-ins live from my office and as soon as they went off of BJ Penn.com’s live stream, you had the results up. Props to your coverage of the event and your up to date news in the MMA world in general. TEAM PENN!!!!!

That’s kinda bad. 3 guys missed weight. What was shoguns weight? I’m guessing he made weight.
Shogun looks better
Dana doesn’t wanna seem to shake hands. LOL. I wonder why.
i saw an interview and dana said he was sick
Shogun looks lean! He has had a little pooch lately.
Damn.. Wish shogun was thus fit against Jones!
shogun looks good if he was in that good a shape against jones he probably wouldnt have been so badly beaten.
…but he still would’ve been beaten. JBJ !
Shogun was exactly 205.
Kampmann and Story should be a good fight, thinking about the weigh-ins!
