Is he really? I’ve never watched a full fight of his before tonight. He fought a decent first round and then just fizzled. Bisping actually looked worried there for a bit.
I don’t know how you go into a 5 round fight in that bad of shape. Not to mention his striking looked sloppy. If he could have just been in good enough shape he could have taken it to the ground and had a good chance. Regardless I think I will always root for Mayhem, he just has the “it” factor.
He was in great shape he came in to weigh ins at 184. Something else happened… I really need to experience the adrenaline dump to “really” know what they are talking about. But, at least he can take a punch. I hope UFC doesn’t make a poor matchup of Cung Le vs Mayhem… That would be an awful fight.

For me Bisping is probably only 1 fight away from deserving a title shot. I don’t think he has the skills or style or ever will beat Anderson but the guys record in the UFC speaks for itself and at least it’s someone different and someone who will definitely bring it. You’ve got to give him props for the way he took Mayhem apart. I really like and rate Mayhem but the way Bisping made him look you’ve got to see he’s not in the same league as the top 185lb guys.
it was pretty high competition Miller got for his first fight back in the UFC. I think a fight with Yoshihiro Akiyama, Alan Belcher, Chris Leben and Dan Miller are fights that would be good for Miller not to mention exciting, as he has proven tonight.
I cant believe how fast Mayhem got tired. He needs a little more conditioning and striking practice. My hats of to bisping. Damn, Mayhem can take a punch!
Bisping will get decimated agains Anderson. He will never be a champion at any weight unless he leaves the UFC. Mayhem… wtf man, 1st round domination, then it looks like you just sprinted a mile…

Ugghhhh Miller you failed me. Now I have to do whatever my friend says for a week. Can’t believe she was right about Bisping winning. Can’t believe he gassed after the first. In his other fights it looked like he could fight for ten rounds without a problem.

Wow, Miller’s standup looked bad. Wide and wild would be a good description, but I think he had a major adrenaline dump which contributed to his getting gassed so quickly.
If I were smart I’d think you listened to Joe Rogan talking about Mayhem’s adrenaline dump during the whole fight. Way to make yourself seem smart…

His striking didn’t look good, even before he gassed out.
Anyone who’s competed knows about an adrenaline dump, so if you were smart, and had watched the fight, you’d pretty much know that I stated the obvious. The question is, are you smart enough to know?

Spitsbing still sucks. He will lose to a top 10 guy like he always does.
Got to admit the Brit is doin pretty and he is in the top 10.. actually ranked 6th.
I think a good test for him would be Belcher.

I didnt say he wasnt in the top 10 i said he will lose to a guy in the top 10. Hence why the UFC gives him Mayhem, Dan Miller, and Sexyama (A WW).

I think Bisping has as good a chance as anyone at beating Anderson, which is to say, not much of one. I’d like to see the fight, I think he has an interesting style to take him on. As for Sonnen and Munoz, I think both would just outwrestle him, probably go the same way as his fight with Rashad. I could see Bisping stopping Maia if they fought though. Reckon that fight will be next.

So glad tj got ktfo. And that’s was pretty impressive by Diego also. Don’t know how the refs called the Ferg vs Edwards a 30 27 either. That fight was way closer than that. Not really surprised mayhem lost either just really wish he didn’t gas after a round. All in all it was a pretty good night of fights

Really down about this event…… If Bisping were to fight Munoz he would get beat easily and if he were to fight Sonnen he would be DESTROYED! Munoz against Sonnen how ever will be a great fight cant wait I got sonnen by UD
Miller always has good cardio too really weird how he gassed must have been ring rust mixed with at little bit of stage fright…
bisping found it hard to time miller in the first round because of his weird style he had good defence on the ground then got back up near the end of the round and was starting to pick him of before he got tired the reason why he was gased in the end of round 2 and 3 was that bisping was not giving him a second to get a breath was landing crisp strikes to body and the had miller was failing takedowns that takkes it out of u to bisping and munoz should be number 1 contender fight. and bisping hS THE BEST CARDIO IN THE MIDDLEWEIGHT DIVISION
Great night of fights. Fight of the night for me was Diego vs Bermudez. Man Bermudez I was screaming at the television..YOU ALMOST HAD HIM! The Dodson fight went exactly how it should have.. I do feel bad for TJ but he punked out on the show choosing easier fights while claiming to be the best in the competition.
Tony Ferguson is the best boxer in the 155 lbs division and can even beat cowboy Cerone.
Miller! He put on an entertaining fight although he took an ass whupping in 2/3 rounds. I have always known that his striking sucks but for some reason he gassed. The “Adrenaline Dump” that Rogan was talking about seems so irregular considering he looked in excellent shape but I guess that’s as good an explanation as there could be. It’s really too bad because I think his BJJ would have destroyed Bisping. Bisping looked okay and seems to be trying to change his tactless image. That’s good because no one likes an asshole.
In the long run this match goes to show you that one dimensional fighters unfortunately no matter how affable and marketable are going to have a hard time competing in the octagon.
If Fergusons the best boxer in the 55 div he would NTFO of Edwards,you no kinda like Stout did! Cerrone would beat this dude handily
He is a wrecking machine, Edwards if you didn’t notice was not some chump fighter he was actually a great opponent for Tony. The last fight Tony had he broke the dudes jaw. Don’t get me wrong I like Cerone but he would get his ass kicked because Tony “The Tank” Ferguson is coming!

When Mayhem had gas he was really keeping Bisping at bay with his unorthodox but mostly uneffective striking. Although he is starting to deserve a title shot I really don’t see how his striking can compete with Anderson Silva’s
Bipsing has really good technical kickboxing. Silva would knock him out…but he’s deserves a title shot..4 wins in a row.
1st Round:
Agreed with all. Even Michael said, “I’m dissapointed in my performance”. Still against a SUPER WORTHY opponent pulled off an exhibition and took Jason to class rounds 2 & 3. Absolute Bisping display of excellence those two rounds. Have always had respect for Miller then he did a class act and gave prop’s to Bisping after the fight. In my book, it’s not how you act when you WIN, it’s when you lose….And Miller displayed SO MUCH maturity in that!! Hats off to both fighters for stepping in there, but congrat’s to BISPING!!!!
There is no denying, THE BETTER MAN WON…..It doesn’t matter if you don’t like him, he is very HUMBLE, and said “SO MUCH WORK TO DO if he wants to fight the champ!!” NONETHELESS…………. HATS OFF!!!

I agree, Bisping although a dick was humble and that’s a nice change. I hope Miller works on his striking like Maia did. I really like Miller but he is going to have to grow.
