UFC NEWS – Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills Booked For UFC 145 In Montreal

UFC officials have booked a welterweight bout between Rory MacDonald and Che Mills for their return trip to Montreal in March.

UFC 145, while not yet officially announced by the promotion is expected to go down from Montreal’s Bell Centre on March 24.

MacDonald was originally set to face off with Brian Ebersole at this past weekend’s UFC 140; however an injury in training forced him out of the bout. The 22 year-old prospect was last seen taking out the always tough Mike Pyle this past August at UFC 133 in the very first round. The Canadian based fighter boasts an impressive 12-1 record with his only loss coming way of Carlos Condit back in June of 2010.

Mills last saw action at UFC 138 in his UFC debut. It took the British fighter just 40-seconds to TKO Chris Cope. The win marked his fifth straight which includes a notable victory over DREAM champ Marius Zaromskis.

    that sucks for mills

  2. Trak says:

All this hype of MacDonald, give him a name and see how he does. I am not saying to rush him, but we don’t need another Josh Grispi.

  3. Ninjaman says:

He beat Mike Pyle and did very well against Carlos Condit. he could have beaten Condit if he had more experience, he’s only 21!

    • JB Spencer says:

not to mention what he did to nate diaz, never seen anybody dominate nate like that. He should definately be fightin a top fiver, that kids a future champ.

  4. magoo says:

Wished it was a top 5er oh well it’ll be nice to see Rory kick ass again!

  5. JB Spencer says:

rory should replace condit and fight kos, thers no reason either one of them should be fighting someone whos not a top 10 or even top 20 fighter. Someone make this happen! that wd b a gd fight

  6. magoo says:

That would be a great fight Jb,after Rory whoops Koschecks ass every mms fan will finally know who MacDonald is!

  7. thedon says:

I think everyone is writing mills off way too easily, although he has only had one fight with ufc he is a veteran fighter with a lot of experience and some notable wins under his belt. I reckon this will be a great fight.
