UFC NEWS – Report: UFC on FOX 2 In The Works For January 28 In Chicago
In a report coming out of Yahoo Sports it was confirmed that the UFC and FOX TV are planning their second live MMA broadcast on January 28th just one week prior to the Nick Diaz vs. GSP title fight on Super Bowl weekend.
Here is what the report says:
Multiple sources confirm that Jan. 28 is the target for UFC on Fox 2 in Chicago at the United Center. That’ll be followed by the Georges St-Pierre-Nick Diaz fight on Super Saturday in Las Vegas on Feb. 4.
No fights have been confirmed for the UFC’s return to network television at this time however we are hopeful that the second time around they will include more than one on the live broadcast. If history teaches us anything, it is that even network TV fans prefer fights over commentary as the latest ratings numbers from UFC on FOX 1 reflected.
