UFC NEWS – Rampage Responds To King Mo Challenge: He’s A Hater And Going To Strikeforce Is A Step Down

[box_light]

“I don’t like the guy. He’s a hater. He’s a big time hater, you know what I’m sayin’? He’s been calling me out on Twitter and stuff. He’s just hatin’ big time. He, uh, he told me a while ago that he wanted to fight me when I’m on my way out. When I’m over the hill. Like most fighters, we get old and the time comes to retire. He said that’s when he wants to fight me, years ago. Now he’s comin’ at me like I’m on my way out…

I wasn’t impressed with Mo’s fight at all. He beat some guy and knocked some guy out on the ground, but the guy has no wrestling experience at all. I can look at Mo, I’m a fighter — I could tell he was gettin’ tired. If it woulda went to the next round, homeboy probably woulda come back. Cuz Mo looked like he was gettin’ tired. I don’t think Mo’s been in the cage with the best in the world. He thinks I’m a bum now? Cuz I lost a fight with Jon Jones, one of the best light heavyweights in my weight class right now? So, I lost a fight to that guy, so now I’m a bum? Well, he can say that all he wants, but that guy has never fought anybody close to the caliber of the guys I’ve fought…

It’s funny that he gotta talk about me after his fight and say I should move down to the Strikeforce and fight him. I’m sorry, but from where I’m sittin’, that’s a step down. You know what I’m sayin’? Why would I wanna step down to the Strikeforce and fight him when I’m fightin’ in the biggest organization in the world?”

Rampage Jackson took to HDNet’s Inside MMA to discuss King Mo, who always seems to be antagonizing Jackson through the media.

Mo has been asking for a fight and calling for a fight with Rampage for the past few years, however, promotional boundaries have made this matchup impossible.

Now that ZUFFA owns Strikeforce, Mo believes he has a little more bargaining power and suggested recently that Rampage take to the Strikeforce cage and face him.

To that, Rampage is not amused, and is also not willing to take a step down, not only in competition but also in employers.

The two really do not like each other, this is not a fabricated hype story, but King Mo just signed a new four-fight deal with Strikeforce so this fight is not likely to happen anytime soon.

Last time Mo faced a high level Striker he got busted up and lost his title, would Rampage have the same success of would Mo put on a takedown clinic?

  1. Damn says:

King HoMO is going to sleep whenever they touch gloves.

    • Damn says:

Another Black on Black crime is coming

      • phace says:

It seems like he talks since he knows they won’t be fighting. As for the takedown clinic, I don’t see that happening. King Mo is a good pure wrestler but I think Rampage can stop his takedown. I also think Rampage hits harder than Feijo(who TKOed Mo). To say step down from the UFC and fight me in Strikeforce is INSANE!

  2. CanILive says:

OHHH what you got to say to that King ho?!

  3. Xaninho says:

Queen Mo with the ridiculous Tiara…

  4. Chupacabra says:

Oh Mo, Mo, Mo … I don’t think you understand what you’re trying to get yourself into.

  5. The_Gooch1 says:

Rampage will whoop that ass. I believe that Mo really wants to fight Rampage but what’s the point of calling him out when he fights for Strikeforce? I guess Rampage is right, he really is a hater.

  6. josh says:

King mo is terrible. That dude was gassed after the 1st round.

  7. CanILive says:

in all reality, rampage moving to SF would be the best thing to happen to them lol, Dana should actually consider moving a couple UFC fighters over, would make SF more interesting

  8. "H"BOMB says:

i love this one the best lightheavy weight in my weight class trololololol…. but in all seriousness i’d love to see king mo fight the caliber of mma that rampage has lost to and even won against!

  9. cheap says:

king mo’s striking doesn’t seem to have improved much (if at all) in his past few fights. no way he takes down rampage. he’d get taken apart standing up.

  10. Mike McMack says:

Rampage would smash queen ho! I would love to see this fight just because of the trash talk but I’d rather see Rampage and Rashad 2 since that first fight was just a really disappointing performance by both guys.

  11. penn rules says:

Rampage would destroy him queer mo not even worth typing about

  12. Nick says:

Queen mo needs to get a reality check. Rampage would stuff the Takedowns and night night Queen Ho.

  13. raven says:

    mo is a loser…big mouth …nuff said..he is nothing near rampage,s level

  14. Ninja Oreo Dollop says:

If Rampage can stuff almost all of Jon Jones takedowns what hope does King Mo have?

  15. Lex w says:

Just fight in the gym release the video then shut up

  16. Yosamitee-$u$ says:

@ Ian Mearns…. I honestly think that king Mo has a snowballs chance in hell @ beating Rampage especially if Rampage really trains, but you’ve gotta be fucking insane if you believe that Dan (H-Bomb) Henderson is a burnt out UFC has been……Just sayin
