  1. Q says:

    whats this guy smoking?

    • MMFT says:

I’m sure he isn’t smoking. That can’t be good for a pro fighter.

      • BiggoTrav says:

I disagree, but only in this one case. I actually am a Kos fan, but the guy has the IQ of about seven stones in a shoebox. Perhaps a toke or two might actually gain him some brain cells!

      • Jon says:

then you haven’t seen the pre-fight conference call with nick diaz talking and intermittently taking bong tokes and practicing nunchaku in the background

        • BiggoTrav says:

Point taken. However, this is why I mentioned that I only meant the comment in regards to Kos, not pot smokers in general. Hell, I smoke myself every once in a great while, I’ll be the first to admit my own short-comings in a cognitive context.

        • Reasonable Thoughts says:

There is no shortcomings, it’s only pot lol.

        • dyllan says:

Don’t give in to his anti pot shit. pot is a performance enhancer for your brain. you can think more clearly on pot because you don’t have a million thoughts running through your head. just ask Joe Rogan baby he’ll educate you!

  2. alex says:

haha nick diaz is a pro fighter and he blazez it up

  3. kevin says:

Really dont think Kos deserves any rematch yep he lost to his twice. Not only lost but pretty bad both times. I think he won 1 rnd out of 8.

  4. Steve says:

At least I agree with everyone else that Kos will beat either Diaz or Condit. Also credit to Kos for saying “the real belt”. Agree or disagree, like him or not he shows up to fight on any notice, wins the vast majority of his fights and finishes most of them in dynamic fashion. finally I think he’s one of the only guys to win a round on GSP in a long time.

    • BiggoTrav says:

I could definitely see that. I would certainly give him the nod over Condit. Diaz is another story. I’m no sack-rider, I just think Diaz would have a much better chance. An expert I am not, nor a numorologist, but I would give Kos an 80/20 chance with Condit. I couldn’t go more than about 50/50 with Diaz. This isn’t necessarily to say that I think Diaz is that much better than Condit,I just think his skill set is better suited to take out Kos than Condit’s is.

  5. rob says:

Who the hell is he to just say he wants the winner of that match so he can fight GSP again? I doubt he could beat Condit or Diaz, but even if he did he shouldn’t fight GSP. He has already lost the first two fights, what makes him think he can do it again.

  6. brad t says:

People wanna bitch about Faber getting another title shot? Smmfh! At least Faber won 1, and by finish. And they bitching about him, even though I thought he was the one who cameto fight last time they fought and it was closer than the damn judges said. And since when does these judges gain credibility? The same people who bitch about them, use them as their defense when it comes to who won “said” fight. The internet has created trolls out the ass!

  7. Roberto says:

Jake “The Juggernaut” Ellenberger is an up and coming contender. He TKO’d Jake Shields something GSP failed to do. Ellenberger has won his last 5 fights and a match-up against Josh Koscheck would be a good one.

  8. Wes says:

When did fighters learn if you talk enough shit on FB or TWITTER you can get whatever match up you want..Damn you Sonnen!! Joe Silva is the match maker..thats his just show up and fight who ever they give you..WIN and then you get a say in who you fight, as for Kos take a number buddy you lost twice, give him 50 more shots and he’ll still get his face broken buy SNORE ST. PIERRE..

  9. MFbrian88 says:

he wants a whooping again…as much as I like the guy….=/

  10. Liam says:

ellenberger will get the winner if he beats sanchez

  11. mmaislandjunkie says:

boom goes your orbital bone. work ur standup fragglerock matt hughes was lighting u up.

    • magoo says:

Im sure Rory would have something to say about that, back O da bus Krotchcheck no more free rides to the #1 contender spot!

      • mmaislandjunkie says:

idk why rory went from nate diaz to pyle kida went backwards imo but rory is 1-1 in my book against top guys in the ufc and nate is obviously not a contender at ww so hes kinda more like 0-1 against top guys at ww. hopefully dana will set him up with some top guys to earn his way to the belt. maybe rumble johnson or ellenberger or koscheck. those guys should really test where hes at, but i think hes got the skills to make it hes a mean dude.

        • magoo says:

he’s just doin what the brass in the ivory tower tell him to Junkie,he’s ready for a top 5 guy and one of thems out for 10 months. By the time George comes back Rory will have beaten to of the top 5 WW and be close to being the #1 challenger……sounds out there but I wouldn’t shit you brah….lol

  12. greg says:

    Kos vs McDonald

  13. KingGareth says:

Kos vs Ellenberger. Kos should only be considered a gate keeper. He is no where near the level of the top 3 of this division.

  14. Lex w says:

    I guess he didn’t learn tha1st time

  15. Fartler says:

I mean this makes sense to me. He just needs to be matched up with a top contender to fight the winner of them. I mean if Ebersole wins this weekend I’d love to see that match up

  16. Robster the Mobster says:

Really Koscheck?? What exactly have you done to make yourself better since your loss to GSP? Nothing. You do the same things you were doing but you expect different results. That is what separates Gsp, Anderson Silva, Chuck Lidel, and Randy Couture from people like you, and that is why you will never be a champion.

  17. Tom Ryan says:

kos vs shields. make it happen!

  18. IknowMMA says:

    Boom?!? Really? Hahaha
Man as much as I hate GSP Kos has a lot of work to do

  19. AAxantonio says:

i think GSP being injured might be the only way kos can win that belt, i would give him an very slight edge against diaz and condit, but in the end GSP will get his belt back no matter who is holding it.

  20. Mike Diaz says:

Kos is not getting a title shot that easy. He’ll most likely will always stay top 5 WW, top 10 even easier. But I did not see any improved skills in Kos vs Hughes, I mean if Hughes weren’t the UFC veteran as he is with a mush chin, he probably would have continued lighting Kos up like a Christmas tree. Be happy with the gatekeeper position Kos! TEAM PENN!!!!!!!

  21. Millerhighlife says:

Flying scissor heel hook, you got this bro

  22. GRT 3000 says:

Twitter is gay as hell too; ne-ways – big whoop, no one cares if Kos gets the interim and then has to face George? …a trilogy of beatdowns – wee-hoooo. PPV sales plummet across the globe.

  23. slacker says:

Yeah, Koscheck won’t be getting the winner of that fight. It will likely be Ellenberger after winning his 5th fight in a row – much deserving.

  24. DannyBoi says:

So a 1 fight win streak over a fighter who was looking for a reason to retire gets you a title shot? I sure as hell hope not. Kos has never beaten a top 10 WW (at the time of the fight) in his career, how he gets so much hype, I’ll never understand. The way he cheated in the Daley fight to get the point deduction was the most bitchmade act I have ever seen during a UFC bout.

  25. Gabe says:

How about beating alves first! He beat you half to death last time. Doubt you’d have any luck the second time around.

  26. Eyes unification.. If Kos fight gsp again he won’t see out of the eyes!

  27. A.James says:

Fitch and Ellenberger deserve the shot before Kos. K

  28. A.James says:

Fitch and Ellenberger deserve the shot before Kos. Kos is my dog but c’mon now! What have you done for me lately?

  29. Jujitsu Player says:

Yeah good one Kosh….because your last fight with GSP worked out so well for you….or the fight before that one come to mention it. In fact when was the last time you even fought one of the top level guys in your weight class? I remember you humped your way to a victory against Paul Daley. That was You deluded fool ermmm exciting fight…..bore off.
