THATS BS, last fight was good, why keep hardy or tito then???
Dana has stated that he has the right to cut any fighter after a loss, so if Dana doesnt like you he will cut u when as soon as he gets the chance. Juniors last fight before Ross Pearson was against Eddie Yagin in Denver, i was at the weigh ins and Junior was acting like a fool off stage and then on stage for the weigh ins. When you act like a tough guy, and act like a lunatic at weigh ins, you better deliver come fight night, he was more active at the weigh ins than he was in the fight. I’m sure that didnt sit well with Dana. If you act like you are ready to kill the guy during the weigh ins, you better try to fight the guy in the octagon, which Junior failed to do and put on the most boring fight of the night, he won… but a lackluster performance. Junior thinks he is Wanderlei in his prime, has a huge ego, and failed to deliver in his octagon debut. Then loses in unimpressive fashion to Ross Pearson. Lose the ego, win a couple more fights, and Dana will let u back in.
As far as Tito and Dan hardy go, Tito was on the verge of being cut and then he beat Ryan Bader, then he took a fight with Rashad Evans on something like 10 days notice (not to mention that he is still a good draw even as an irrelevant fighter) That got him out of Danas doghouse. As far has Hardy, Dana said he keeps him around because the guy come to entertain in a fight, same with Pat Barry, thats why when those guys were on losing skids they were given more chances because they at least entertain. Nothing worse then being boring and a loser. I will look for the video on youtube and post in when i find it.

Hardy comes to fight the only boring fight he was in, was when he got dryhumped by Rumble, I expected him to get cut, then saw that video where Dana said he really likes this guy. So he is going to give him time off and let him come back. You must only read from BJPenn.com… idiot

I agree with FunCrusher. Hardy has had his share of entertaining fights, even with losses (Condit was a fun scrap to watch).
However, I also personally believe that Hardy is part of that Brit battalion that is a conduit to the UK market. Its hard enough for those fans to watch the fights (typically starting at 2 or 3am) but having fighters they are familiar with doesn’t hurt. Besides Brits love to stand and bang so that always is worth a buck or fifty lol.
Very good point Gambit, @CanILive, I understand the Ross fight wasnt terrible, but he left a bad first impression, and like I mentioned, he has an ego/attitude problem and we’ve seen rising fighters get cut strictly for these reasons i.e. Todd Duffee (he burst onto the scene and looked like he was the new big thing.) Dana let him go after his 1st loss to Mike Russow. I’m not saying I agree with the way Dana works, im just saying thats how it appears.
