UFC NEWS – Overeem Passes PED Test – Cleared to Fight Lesnar At UFC 141
Today the NSAC has revealed that UFC 141 competitor Alistair Overeem has passed his pre-fight drug screening for performance enhancing drugs.
UFC president Dana White broke the news just moments ago via twitter.
“Overeem is ready to go!!! Lesnar vs Overeem is on!”, said the UFC president.
UFC 141 is set to take place on Dec. 30 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The end-of-year pay-per-view event will feature a five-round non-title fight between former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and newly signed heavyweight stand-out Alistair Overeem.
“The Reem” still has to undergo a few more waves of testing in order to appease the Nevada State Athletic Commission, but for now, with the clean test results he is free to fight Brock Lesnar next weekend on a conditional license to fight.
