UFC NEWS – Noke vs. Hamman Expected For UFC on FOX 2

A middleweight contest between Kyle Noke and Jared Hamman is expected to go down in the UFC’s return trip to March set for Australia.
Noke announced the news, but UFC officials have yet to confirm the bout.
UFC on FX 2 is set to feature a main event welterweight bout between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves. The Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia will play host to the fight card on March 3 of 2012 and will also feature the opening round of the UFC’s flyweight title eliminator tournament.
Noke is an Australian based fighter who will get to fight in front of his hometown crowd when he steps in the cage against Hamman. After getting submitted by Ed Herman in his last outing this past August he will look to return to his winning ways and start another streak of success. Prior to his defeat to Herman at UFC on Versus 5, Noke was on a five-fight win streak.
Hamman was last seen at UFC 140 where the middleweight fighter was dominated by Constantinos Philippou. The bout marked his fifth appearance under the UFC banner but he has alternated wins and losses since signing with the promotion.
