UFC NEWS – Munoz Says The UFC Can Cancel Security Plans For Sonnen In Brazil
And that’s because Chael Sonnen won’t be getting his title shot against Anderson Silva after Mark is done with him.
That is of course, according to Munoz…
“They don’t need to have security around (Sonnen) because he ain’t going to Brazil. I kind of feel disrespected a little bit, but you know what? It is what it is, and it ain’t going to happen.”
Munoz refers to the UFC’s plans on having “presidential level” security for Chael Sonnen when he heads to Brazil to rematch Anderson Silva for the UFC’s middleweight title.
The most hated man in the South American country was originally expected to face Anderson Silva for the UFC’s middleweight title, however, after an injured Silva announced his lengthy layoff a new contender in Mark Munoz emerged and the UFC decided to link the two wrestlers up for a title shot eliminator matchup on FOX.
Having been so outspoken in his assault on all things Brazilian, UFC president Dana White had said that when Chael heads down to Brazil to face Anderson Silva they will provide him with “presidential level” security in order to assure his safety.
Munoz obviously has different plans and wants the world to know that he is out to prove that he is the one deserving of a shot at the middleweight strap.

I don’t see Phael being able to take Munoz down and hold him there. If he does take him down, his g&p is not the vicious, finishing type, so Munoz will survive to the end of the round.
