UFC NEWS | Matt Hughes Wants To Fight, Wife Says No, Will Let Dana Be The Tie Breaker
“I want to fight again, my wife tells me I’m going to retire, so Dana is the deciding vote. We will talk to him and see what happens. I’d like to talk to him tonight, but I have not seen him yet. I don’t know yet to be honest. I think Dana can be the final decision-maker. My wife is a great lady, but she is not going to tell me when Matt Hughes retires. I’m just hoping I can fight next, we will see what happens. I am not scouting any one out, I’m just hoping the opportunity is till there for me. As soon as this old body can get back into shape I’d love to jump back in there, so, that’s another that he’ll (White) answer for me.”

Yea thats because Dan Hardy has seen how easy it was for Kos to knock him out and Hardy thinks it will be just as easy. Hardy is finally stooping down to a level where he is actually looking for an easy fight with someone with a glass jaw and someone where he can TRY to show off some of his new “wrestling skills”. Its quite sad actually. Maybe Hardy should just try lightweight.

Haha I like that he keeps his wife in place! I think Matt should retire with his head held high. If he wants to fight Dan Hardy I am fine with that. That way Matt can retire with the W and Dan Hardy can leave the promotion because his ride is over.

There has been too much violence. Too much pain. But I have an honorable compromise. Just walk away Matt. Leave the division, the octagon, the UFC and the whole MMA sport, and I’ll spare your life. Just walk away and we’ll give you a safe passageway in retirement. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror.
