dana said “submission of the century” and i would have to agree, lol! sickest kimura ever laid down in a fight.
Right up there with saku/Gracies for sure
Yah have to totally agree! Mir’s sub over Tim Sylvia was just top notch & now we have his “EPIC” kimura victory over Big Nog! The fact that he was about to be ktfo & come back with a kimura was just beyond belief!
yes,,,i was wondering why when buffer anounced at the end of the fight he said mir won by tko??/ even when nog tapped…what is thaat about…i dont think nog will recover from that,,,i felt real bad for tito he just has no heart he is like a dinosaur in there….and mark homnick got robbed i think that could haAve continued,,,if they let mir go then mark shiould have continued easy..he was farr from out,,,,,SICK CARD
Mir wasn’t limp with his hands at his side
I feel bad for Homnbick but I disagree I think it was a legit stoppage. He would have taken some damage and he was definitely not defending himself.
Hominick was out man. He came to quickly but he was definitely out..good stoppage imo.
It should have been Technical Submission but Big Nog is a moron…he had the guy hurt and let his ego get in the way with going for that guillotine…he deserved what he got.
he didnt deserve what he got… but he def should’ve just finished the ****in fight by tko/ko…
Shoulda is a son of a bitch huh? He got what was comming to him for not knocking Mir out and not tapping before his shit got pretzeled
If you consider blocking with your face intelligently defending yourself, then sure the mark/zombie fight was stopped to early
yeah but mir was way more fuct then mark he was face down man ..with his hands at the side…nog gavve he that sub,,it seemed lke mir woke up with nog,s arm in a kumora,,mark was not out…just as the ref got between them mark was kicking him off,,,mark in my opinion is TOP 3 145,,him against kenflo would be great fight for both
Mark was out until the last punch woke him up. These refs have to look out for the fighter’s safety. Anytime you have a fighter getting his head bounced off of the canvas by punches and his eyes are rolled, he’s DONE! Any one that thinks that was an early stoppage is a blatant fanboy or a Moroni.
Well when u watch the Hominick/Jung fight in “real-time” then yah it might look like an early stoppage! But, when u slow it down & start paying close attention to his “body-language”, he’s pretty much in snooze-ville! From my perspective & the multiple replays they showed, his body went limp! He just got caught man!
Are you referring to “Phil Moroni?
Mir’s left hand was holding Nog’s foot. he was going for a single that’s why the ref didn’t stop the fight.
I consider Mir/Nog the FOTN. I’d give Jones SOTN Korean Zombie easily gets KOTN. How was Jo.es/Machida fight of the night? Seriously?
Machida were mixing it up pretty well in that first round.
I think Nog and Mir was probably fight of the night. The fights had great finishes but there wasn’t any really outstanding fights. Watching it I was thinking shit these guys are ****ing dangerous, it was bang lights out and sick submissions in almost every fight. Mir is one nasty dude, thats going to go down as one of the best submissions in histort especially from the position he was in (almost getting tko’d). I really hope Big Nog recovers, can’t tell if it was elbow or shoulder dislocation either was it was bad.
