UFC NEWS – Lyoto Machida: "I Will Be Champion Again"
“I watch and study Jon Jones’s fights thoroughly and really it’s about preparing for everything. What spectacular thing is he going to do? Is he going to fly or is he going to be diving in? There’s always going to be a surprise factor with Jon Jones. All you can really do is prepare for everything he might try to do. If I do that I will be ready to face whatever he is going to bring during the fight. I have been preparing and training 100-percent and I’m gonna be 100-percent the day of the fight. I am going to go in there and win and get the belt back. I will be the champion again.”

i see jones winning but if there was any time for someone to beat him or atleast exsposing some of his weaknesses it will be now with machida..remember jones is still evolving and growing as a fighter to, so hopefully machida can make this fight interesting
I agree. I’m sure Jones will win the fight, but if there is someon who can expose him in some way, or catch him slipping, it would be Machida and his unorthadox style.

Mr.Bones will reign over all at light heavyweight. He will eventually go to heavyweight & dominate there. Machida should go down a weight class, but would probably get stomped by The Spider. Hes going to lose convincingly
You obviously have no clue about mma. Anderson and lyoto train together almost on a daily. And bones would get absolutely anhilated at heavyweight. Put jones against a guy like Mir,carwin, Lesnar,overeem ,jds ,Cain,big country,nogueria, any of them would most likely destroy jones. All of them hit about 5 times harder than jones and would knock his lanky ass out
I agree, he would get obliterated at hw. That’s why he is at the weight class he is at now. Put him up against Kongo and all the advantages go out the window.
