UFC NEWS – Lightweight Newcomers, Magalhaes and Izquierdo Likely To Meet At UFC on FUEL TV 1

Two debuting lightweights have reportedly agreed to face one another during the UFC on FUEL TV 1 card.
Brazil’s Bernardo Magalhaes has agreed to face Cuba’s Izquierdo in a lightweight battle of UFC newcomers.
UFC officials have yet to confirm the matchup, but Izquierdo recently came out on his facebook.com profile with the news.
UFC on FUEL TV is set to take place in Omaha, Nebraska on February 15 from the Omaha Civic Auditorium. A welterweight clash between Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez is set for the evening’s main event.
Magalhaes is a Brazilian born fighter with an impressive Jiu Jitsu base. Currently training and fighting out of Australia, he is the Cage Fighting Championships lightweight title holder. The 11-1 fighter last saw action in June with a successful defense of his title over Robert Lisita.
Izquierdo is teammate to popular bantamweight fighter, Alex Caceres. The Cuban born fighter trains out of Florida’s Young Tigers Foundation and holds an unbeaten record of 6-0, with three of his wins coming by TKO.
