UFC NEWS – Jon Olav Einemo vs. Mike Russow In The Works for UFC on FOX 2
A heavyweight clash is expected to be put together for the UFC’s return to network television.
Jon Olav Einemo and Mike Russow have apparently agreed to face each other on January 28.
While not officially announced by the promotion, UFC on FOX 2 is expected to go down from Chicago’s United Center on January 28.
Golden Glory fighter, Jon Einemo returns after many thought all fighters related to Golden Glory received the axe. This however was not the case and Einemo still finds himself a UFC fighter. He recently made his UFC debut at UFC 131 in an amazing back and forth showing against Dave “Pee Wee” Herman. The bout was a loss on his record, but the bout earned “Fight of the Night” honors from UFC officials.
Russow is probably better known for his come from behind knockout victory over the once highly regarded, Todd Duffee. He was last seen earning a second round TKO victory this past March over Jon Madsen. He remains unbeaten in three UFC appearances.
