UFC NEWS – Hominick vs. Yagan Shifted To UFC Atlanta In April

A featherweight matchup originally scheduled for Montreal between Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin has been moved to the UFC’s return trip to Atlanta.
UFC 145 was originally scheduled to go down in Montreal in March, however after UFC officials cancelled the event, UFC Atlanta (which was originally scheduled to be UFC 146) is now coined UFC 145.
UFC 145 is set to take place on April 21st and is expected to take place at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena.
Hominick last saw action in a disappointing defeat at UFC 140 where he was knocked out by Chan-Sun Jung in just seven-seconds. The performance by Jung tied the UFC’s record for fastest knockout inside the Octagon.
Prior to the Jung defeat, Hominick lost an entertaining bid at Jose Aldo’s title.
Stepping into the cage with the former featherweight contender is Eddie Yagin. The former Tachi Palace champion last saw action in his UFC debut at UFC 135 where he picked up a decision loss to Junior Assuncao.

MARK HOMNICK IS EASILY THE NUMBER 2 FEATHER WEIGHT….HE GOT CAUGHT IN HIS LAST FIGHT PURE BAD LUCK,,,,HE SHOWED A BIG BIG WEAKNESS IN ALDO IN THE 5TH ROUND
Number 2 Featherweights dont make mistakes like that. plain and simple because you dont see number 1 featherweight barely makes ANY mistakes as you can see from his fights. If your going to do a looping wide left hook with no slipping after is not a #2 featherweight. if you miss the left hook and your right handed, its boxing 101 , slip after so you dont get countered.
