UFC NEWS – Gonzaga Ready For Another Run In the UFC

“It was natural. I feel I never left [the UFC]. The UFC is my home, they take care of me very good (and) I have a lot of friends there. I am excited to see everyone again…I know what everyone knows [about my opponent] Ednaldo is though fighter and come from a great camp. But at this point I am not worried about him; I am worried about my training and I am going to be very well-trained for this bout. I am ready to have a big run in the UFC again and it will start now at UFC 142. I want to thanks those who have been contributing for my training camp here at Team Link. It is going great.”
In an interview with fiveouncesofpain.com, former UFC number-one-heavyweight contender, Gabriel Gonzaga talks about his return to the UFC following release from the promotion.
When Gonzaga ascended through the rankings to challenge for the UFC heavyweight title, Randy Couture held the belt, and the division lacked the 265 pound monsters we see today. The landscape has changed and Gonzaga fell short in his last few outings for the promotion which subsequently caused his release.
Can he now succeed where he previously fell short or will his return to the Octagon be short lived?

At one point in time, I thought “Napao” was gonna run the HWT division, especially when KTFO’d Mirko.
So did I – then he kept getting KTFO. Hopefully he can get it right this time.
