UFC NEWS – Get Ready Philippines, BJ Penn Press Tour Coming Soon

ABS-CBN, the parents company of the Balls television channel that handles all of the countries UFC broadcasting has booked BJ Penn for a press tour in the Philippines.

BJ Penn is a two division UFC champion who has fought the best competition the world has to offer for more than ten straight years. He was last seen in action in the UFC 137 main event against Nick Diaz and while many thought that this tour may get cancelled after the loss, BJ is still committed to meeting with as many Filipino fans as possible during his time in the country.

“I am excited to go to the Philippines for the UFC and the fans out there,” said Penn of his upcoming trip.

The full schedule of events is still in the works, however on November 30, Penn is confirmed to attend an open work out event at the SM Mall of Asia. This is the same venue where many may remember GSP held a similar event last year.

Stay tuned to BJPENN.COM for a full schedule of BJ’s plans while in the Philippines. We will have that information up as soon as it becomes available to us.
