UFC NEWS | Ferguson vs. Hallman Slated For UFC’s Return To Fox In May

UFC officials have announced the addition of a lightweight bout between TUF winner Ton Ferguson and MMA veteran Dennis Hallman to their May return to FOX TV.
UFC on FOX 3 is set to take place in New Jersey from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford.
Ferguson comes into the fight riding a six-fight win streak, including three in the UFC. The Ultimate Fighter winner knocked out fellow finalist Ramsey Nijem to win the show then went on to break the jaw of Aaron Riley and outpoint Yves Edwards in his short UFC career. No doubt that Hallman will be his toughest test to date.
Hallman comes back to the UFC’s lightweight division where he last took out John Makdessi at UFC 140 quickly in the first round. The bout was shadowed with controversy as Hallman failed to make the required weight limit. The victory however put his at 3-1 since returning to the UFC where he has been able to take out Karo Parisyan and Ben Saunders in the process.
No news on where this bout will be placed on the evening’s card but it will likely be on the FUEL TV preliminary portion of the evening.
