UFC NEWS – Easton vs. Stone Booked Added To UFC on FX 1
A bantamweight bout has been added to the main card of the UFC’s first ever live event on Fox affiliate station, FX.
UFC on FX 1 is set to take place from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on January 20. A lightweight bout between Melvin Guillard and Jim Miller will serve as the evening’s main event live on FX. The preliminary bouts are expected to air on FUEL TV.
Easton was last seen in action making his UFC debut at UFC on Versus 6 this past October. He was able to take out Byron Bloodworth via TKO to earn his first UFC victory. A member Brandon Vera’s Alliance MMA and Master Lloyd Irvin’s team he will look to keep his win streak alive which is currently set at six-fights.
Stone has not had an easy time with ZUFFA owned promotions. With an initial loss to Eddie Wineland under the WEC banner he moved to the UFC and dropped his second straight contest to Scott Jorgensen. He last saw action at Fight Night 25this past September where he earned his first UFC win via submission over Donny Walker.
