  1. RonnieV says:

Nick Diaz “What you see is what you get.” The most exciting fighter in the game right now.

    • Frekklz says:

Amen. I want him to win. But then I feel like GSP will lay on his ass for 25 mins if he does.

It also sucks cause Condit is an awesome fighter too. He’ll definitely be around the top for a while to come.

  2. 209 says:

    keepin it real

  3. Soccerchago209 says:

    his gonna do work!

  4. Scott Toomey says:

Confused about the end. Was he saying that it was crazy that the dude was trying to tell him about how Georges wants him to win so he can fight him? Or is Georges crazy because Nick thinks Georges is being fake about saying that he wants Nick to win? I love this dude.

  5. Anomie says:

Wait… So GSP wanting Diaz to win is crazy? It’s an act?

Diaz is definitely in the right sport as a fighter because he isn’t the best at answering questions.

    • learntoread says:

I think Nick was more alluding to the notion that GSP would rather face him than Condit because Carlos and Georges are stablemates & know / like each other….going back to what Diaz stated in an earlier interview about fellow Welterweights: “If we’re going to be fighting, we’re not friends.”

  6. roberts says:

hes tired of how everyone is trying to act fake and get him all worked up over some he said she said shit….

  7. Natural says:

If I ran inn to this guy in the woods on his bmx bike by myself I would fuck him up

  8. A T T says:

i cant see anyone beating diaz right now.

    • Mo says:

Pick any good wrestler that can hold him down…guy sucks at wrestling. U don’t think GSP will expose that ??

      • mmaislandjunkie says:

so holding him down is how u wana see him go out? lol god i wish they would allow upkicks this is whats wrong with mma. this whole “oh yeah dawg im gonna wrestle you and hold u down then the judges will tell me i won” attitude is ruining mma and making ppl fight less and wrestle more. this aint uwc this if the ufc.

        • Mo says:

na its not my favorite style of fighting…but tell that to GSP and Sonnen and all of the great wrestlers out there…they do what they can to win the fight…by points..I’d rather see a stand up war

        • westy4real says:

Since when don’t they allow upkicks?

        • mmaislandjunkie says:

they dont allow upkicks when the person on top has their knees or hands on the ground.

        • Thurgood Jenkins says:

I think they need to bring back some Pride principles. What was it? Don’t push the pace, lose points and 20% of the fight purse?

  9. jason says:

whos the brunette in the back?

  10. slacker says:

He seems really out of his comfort zone there. Looks to me like he is going to have to work hard to keep himself together mentally between now and fight time. I think the media pressure might be too much for him and willl have a draining effect on his performance.

    • ThaGreenBandit says:

No doubt. Diaz is CLEARLY uncomfortable, sitting up ther in front of all those media guys, answering their questions n shit

  11. johnyfz450 says:

i cant wait for this fight its gonna be a war either could win this

    • aaron says:

you said it perfect.. two mexicans.. built the same.. fight close to the same.. and both come to fight not just to win on points.. awsome fight

  12. stix says:

I think he was under the impression that GSP was cheering for him like faking support to look like the good guy between the two of them, not realizing GSP wants him to win so he has the opportunity to try to beat his ass

    • Mucks says:

That’s what I thought too. You gotta respect the way he carries himself. No selling out no acting for the media

    • mmaislandjunkie says:

gsp beating ass? lmao more like gsp grabbing ass when he takes his opponent down and lnp’s them. i hope either nick or carlos kicks gsps boring ass.

  13. iStone says:

i love everything about this dude, *ALL GOGO….DIAZ/WAR/FTW! “iron sharpens iron” cesar gracie

  14. placing my bets on friday, and im going all in on condit….

  15. Chartmonster says:

Nick is coming around and I’m kinda starting to like this guy or maybe it’s simpathy..Carlos is going to win this with shear energy and raw power.

    • slacker says:

He seems like he is a good big brother. Yeah, the power and Carlos finishing ability will be the difference. He will drop him, and unlike Daley, Carlos is great on the ground and will know what to do to get the job done.

  16. dave says:

diaz really does not like the media really…look the first question ask to him,,h is taking a deep breath and really tryinig hold it toethr…he resally does not like this shit,,i dont blame him..that why i like nick he is really human…he really deserve to win this ad get his shot..if he loses he wont get shot for long time .he will fal back down the ww rankings..he really earned this with hard work.

  17. slacker says:

We’ll see about that. There is a lot of time between now and then. You think he ran out the back door of Gracie’s house because he is emotionally stable?! Hopefully, he can keep it together. But he looked extremely fragile at the start of that interview.

  18. dave says:

you an idiot all you comments are jst so stupid;;;;along with yuo loser fake name…get a lfe buddy..diaz woul smash you gooof

  19. slacker says:

Yeah, that’s all I am saying. All those questions can be unnerving because now you are having to think about things other than the fight. And if you have a screwed up past like he does, that can really get you thinking about things other than the fight. It’s added negative energy.

  20. mmaislandjunkie says:

nicks boxing will shit all over whatever striking carlos thinks he has.

  21. slacker says:

Yeah, his boxing will be okay until Carlos drops him. Then Condit will finish him.

  22. mmaislandjunkie says:

sorry slacker nick aint gonna eat no kim chee thats gonna make his weasy before the fight and he aint no overated dan hardy who needs to dye his hair red to try and intimidate his opponents. nicks gonna make carlos wish there was still a wec.

  23. slacker says:

I don’t think so. Nick’s cardio gives his fans a lot of confidence, but Carlos has an iron will. Nick has been fighting 2nd tier WW’s. Carlos has been in the trenches with higher level guys and gutted out wins. He is on another level than Nick.

  24. mmaislandjunkie says:

errrrr wrong. dong kim and hardy are not better competition than bj penn and paul daley. daley was in a championship fight against nick in strikeforce and a no.1 contender fight v kos in the ufc. dong kim is never gona make it to a championship fight unless the ufc decides to put him in there to market him in korea or something kinda like how they marketed hardy for his championship fight.

  25. slacker says:

Diaz is 7 – 4 in the UFC and Condit is 4 – 1. Penn is not a WW, otherwise he would have won that fight and we wouldn’t even be talking about Diaz. But, he’s not, he’s a LW, so living off the praises off Penn’s famed name, I don’t believe applies here. So, actually, he is 6 – 4. And he is soon to be 6 – 5 for a dismal, almost .500 record.

  26. mmaislandjunkie says:

youre going off old stats. new stats depict a whole different story.

  27. slacker says:

Well, I know what you are saying. But I am isolating UFC stats because I truly believe it’s another level up from the other MMA leagues.

  28. slacker says:

But will he smash Carlos, is the question?
