UFC NEWS – Barry, Morecraft, Denis And Miller Earn $45k Fight Night Bonuses
For their parts in tonight’s fights, Pat Barry, Christian Morecraft, Nick Denis and Jim Miller were awarded $45,000 in “Fight Night” bonus money.
Barry and Morecraft took home “Fight of the Night” honors. Denis took him “Knock Out of the Night” and Miller took home “Submission of the Night.”
UFC on FX 1 took place tonight from Nashville Tenn. In the evening’s main event Jim Miller was able to weather an early storm of vicious strikes from Guillard and get the bout to the ground where he held the advantage. After a scramble for position Miller secured a figure-four body lock from back mount and submitted Guillard with a rear naked choke in round 1.
In similar fashion, Josh Neer took heavy shots from Duane Ludwig early on in their bout, but after weathering the Ludwig storm, Neer took the fight to the ground where he stopped his opponent with a guillotine choke to win the evening’s co-main event in the very first round.

I don’t think they give bonuses to the prelims fighters. Easton and Papazian def shoulda got it.

Haha those little guys never got close to finishing eachother nor did they have the power to they need to kick everybody under 145 out its like watching junior high kids fight I know plenty of 12 year olds bigger than they are and more athletic

If Guillard fights Cerrone he will be receiving his walking papers. He is losing his “It” factor.
guillard would beat cerrones ass…….cerrone would not be able to take him down and melvins stand up is better. jim miller is bad ass with a good chin not much guys could take those shots
Either way, it either is going to be a FOTN… MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Cerrone also has a good chin, he stumbled around for 3 rds in his last fight. His striking is more diverse than Melvin’s and he can pull off a rear naked choke just like Guillard’s last two opponents.
