UFC NEWS – Aaron Rosa vs. James Te Huna Added To UFC on FX 2
A light-heavyweight contest has been added to the UFC’s return trip to Australia in March.
Aaron Rosa will meet Australian native James Te Huna on the UFC on FX 2 fight card.
UFC on FX 2 is set to feature a main event welterweight bout between Martin Kampmann and Thiago Alves. The Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia will play host to the fight card on March 3 of 2012 and will also feature the opening round of the UFC’s flyweight title eliminator tournament.
Rosa last saw action in his light-heavyweight debut against Matt Lucas on the UFC on FOX 1 preliminary card. He was able to out-pace the UFC newcomer and earn his first Octagon victory in the process. The win bounced him back from his UFC debut loss at heavyweight against Joey Beltran.
Te Huna will get home field advantage when the two face off in March. Having won two out of his three UFC bouts, the up-and-comer hopes to make a statement over Rosa and impress his home town crowd in the process.
The bout will likely serve on the preliminary portion of the card.
