NASCAR Driver Jeffrey Earnhardt wins MMA debut | MMA NEWS

Fight Lab 25 took place in Charlotte, NC. The event saw the MMA debut of NASCAR driver Jeffrey Earnhardt. The grandson of racing legend Dale Earnhardt squared off against Chris Faison.
Earnhardt’s hand was raised in victory and scored him his first ever MMA win. The win came via unanimous decision after three hard fought rounds that would see Jeffrey land takedowns, sweep positions, and strike from the clinch.
During his post fight interview Jeffrey talked about the experience and even joked with the crowd.
“I really enjoyed this opportunity”, said Earnhardt. “I was grateful for the opportunity and really enjoyed the experience. I will admit that hitting the wall at 170 miles per hour at Talladega did hurt more than the fight. I think this was a good first fight”.
Earnhardt’s next fight has not been announced, but he will return to racing in July.

Damn NASCAR drivers better watchout. Don’t want to wreck the wrong person lol
Right! I guess a country boy can survive! This makes me smile! I stopped watching NASCAR when his Dad died. The apple doesn’t fall far, Dale would beat your ass too! HA!
He’s Dale Sr’s grandson & Jr’s nephew.
Didn’t mean dad, but thanks for the correction. I actually thought Granddad.
congratz
That’s cool. I guess once you hit a wall with 170 mph nothing can scare or hurt you more.
