again the issue with anyone fightin Anderson is his range and his accuracy. Anderson can fight at all ranges and has decent Take down defense. mainly because of his length. and when Chael fights Anderson again you will see a different fighter in Anderson. Chael has released a more serious Anderson. look for the fight to be over in the late 2nd early 3rd.

I like Chris Weidman and I hope he does finish Anderson…but Chaels got Silvas number.
Silva will probably be retired by the time Weidman gets anywhere near a title shot.I think Silva only has 3-4 fights left in his contract i don’t think Weidman will be one of those fights.
Chael, Bisping ( In the UK), Hendo, and Vitor (In Brazil),
Jones would be his swan song and last fight as a bonus 1 fight deal after his contract is up.

he will be the future MW champ, yea his fight against maia was terrible, but when you have to fight someone on short notice (pretty sure every fight weidman has had in the UFC was on short notice except for one) and he had to cut so much weight… he took it to a top level guy after doing all of that? give him credit when it’s due, i want to see this guy take on a top level guy with a full camp… he would destroy anyone.
Weidman is no joke but there are a few guys ahead of him in line to fight Silva and based on the Maia fight which was admittedly was taken on short notice he needs to improve or Silva would run through him. Definitely a future contender at MW. Right now I think Bisping, Munoz, Chael and Belfort would all have too much for him.
