UFC Lightweight Jacob Volkmann Cut from UFC Roster | UFC NEWS
UFC Lightweight fighter, Jacob Volkmann, announced last night via Twitter that he was cut from the UFC. Earlier today, he posted that “I[t] wasn’t @danawhite[‘s] decision to cut me it was Joe Siva’s.”
Volkmann (15-4), who fights out of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, saw action most recently on the undercard of UFC 156, where he lost via rear-naked choke to Bobby Green. This loss was one of only two in Volkmann’s last eight fights. Volkmann has a 6-4 record in the UFC.
As a fighter, Volkmann brought NCAA D-1 wrestling expertise in a style that many critics decry as smothering and boring. Even still, Volkmann is a tough fighter who has a solid skill base; though not for the UFC, we can certainly expect to see him fight again soon.

Not suprized, his boring @ss fighting style is not very fan friendly.. unless you’re t.daddy.

Not really surprised with Volkman, but with Fitch, even though I was usually pretty bored with his fights until recently, I’m pretty shocked. His release is shocking, and I’m guessing the reasoning behind it is pretty petty because no matter how boring, he only lost to the top contenders, and it’s not like he had a bunch of losses at that.
Yeeahhh! Volkmann is one of the most boring fighters and he has a shitty personality to add to that. So not really shocked he got cut.
