Johnson vs. Castillo Set For UFC 151 | UFC NEWS
The UFC has booked a lightweight fight for their UFC 151 event coming this September between Danny Castillo and Michael Johnson.
UFC 151 is taking place on September 1st from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones is expected to make his latest attempt at a title defense against Dan Henderson.
Castillo has been on a tear since entering the UFC as part of the WEC merger. The Team Alpha Male fighter has picked up just one loss in his last seven bouts and that came at the hands of Jacob Volkmann last August. Since the defeat he has rattled off two straight wins.
Johnson was introduced to the UFC masses as a cast member on the UFC’s 12 season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series. After picking up a submission loss to Paul Sass he has been able to string together two straight wins over Shane Roller and Tony Ferguson.
