Gamburyan Meets Omigawa At UFC on FOX 4 | UFC NEWS

Manny Gamburyan has one more chance to prove himself in the UFC. His opponent comes calling at UFC on FOX 4, by means of Michihiro Omigawa, the Japanese slugger.
Gamburyan is coming off of three consecutive losses, two in the UFC(one in WEC), one to Tyson Griffin and the other to Diego Nunes, both via decision. Both fighters have had success outside of the UFC, but inside of the big promotion the two have struggled.
Omigawa has not shown much promise while fighting for MMA’s top promotion, holding just a meager 1-3 record since signing with ZUFFA. This may be the last chance for the Japan native to battle inside the octagon. In his most recent fight Omigawa was beaten by Yuri Alcantara via unanimous decision.
Gamburyan is a TUF 5 contestant and UFC veteran, holding a not so impressive UFC record (2-5). Manny is seeking a UFC win for the first time in four fights.
The bout is expected to take place on the preliminary card. The main event sees Brian Stann taking on former Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard.
