UFC Fighter Reza Madadi Sentenced to 18 Months for Aggravated Burglary
Swedish UFC fighter, Reza Madadi, was sentenced to 18 months in prison Friday for his participation in an aggravated burglary back in May.

UFC lightweight fighter, Reza Madadi, was sentenced to one year and six months in prison on Friday for grand larceny.
Madadi was sentenced for his role in the burglary of a top-end handbag store in Stockholm Sweden. According to surveillance footage, early in the morning on May 24, Madadi and two other men broke into Bottega Veneta with a sledgehammer and stole $150,000 of handbags. Police later tracked the car to a garage in Akersberga, where they found and arrested Madadi.
In addition to the 18-month sentence, Madadi was ordered to repay damages to shop owners and an insurance company.
Madadi has spent the last two months in jail awaiting the verdict. He now has until September 6 to appeal the verdict.
Madadi last fought in April, submitting Michael Johnson in the third round of their fight at UFC on Fuel TV 9. The performance earned Madadi a Submission of the Night bonus.
