UFC Fighter Eliot Marshall Confirms Retirement | UFC NEWS

UFC Light-heavyweight, Eliot Marshall has officially announced his retirement. Marshall is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Brandon Vera last October, ending his career with a record of 10-4. The 31-year old New Jersey Native gave an honest and frank excuse for his departure from competition:
“I’m retired. There’s a point of diminishing returns, I believe,” Marshall said. “For me, fighting, I wish I could have been a champ, that would have been great. I would have made a lot of money. I would know what it means to be the best in the world.”
“We’re going to have a full fight team,” Marshall said. “That’s what we want to do.”
Marshall went 3-3 in the UFC and appeared on the 8th season of the Ultimate Fighter.
