UFC Boss: GSP Wanted To Disappear, Now He Won’t Go Away

In a surprising turn of events, former UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre, is quickly becoming enemy number 1 for the UFC.

Following his exodus from the sport, the UFC, and it’s executives, promised to give their top drawing fighter his space to work out his ‘personal issues’.

But now that space is growing larger and larger.

The former welterweight champion has cited several issues with his former employer. From calling the UFC a monopoly that’s bad for the sport, to saying that he left the game because the UFC doesn’t have a strict enough anti-doping policy, GSP is letting his mouth talk the talk, while he walks the walk on the sidelines.

In response, Dana White went off last night at the UFC Fight Night 35 post-fight presser, and during his rant he said the following:

“Georges St-Pierre never said he wanted to go away, he said he needed some time off because he had all these personal issues going on in his life and he needed some time off. So not only did we… We said do your thing… Vacates the title… We’re not even… We left the guy alone. We are not asking him to do anything. We haven’t… We’re letting him do his thing. Guy’s out doing more interviews now then he did when he was fighting. Said he wanted to disappear for a while and go away. Well here we are. Now we are talking about Georges St-Pierre. Trying to get him on the phone. Trying to you know… It’s so weird.”

    Is that a problem Dana?

  2. Sasquatch says:

GSP’s just exposing what kind of scummy company the UFC really is and Dana King is left doing damage control.. and sh!tty damage control at that.. Good for him!

6 moths ago GSP was doing nothing but singing the praises of the UFC, and had been for years. Just shows what a two face he is, that he was not willing to say what was bothering him while he was there, and now wont answer a phone call. How pathetic. He still has a contract with the UFC, so I hope he does not plan on fighting anywhere else…..

    GSP, Cote…what a bunch of phonies…

if you only knew how racist, how bigoted these
French people from Quebec are…you should
stay out of the province period. GSP, Cote…sick
    that you are having the
    first UFC
    in Canada in Quebec…we
will not watch it at all…they don’t even consider
    themselves part of Canada unless
money is involved… They have spent the last 5
    decades banning our language
    with racist,
    bigoted, anti-English language laws like bills 22, 178, 101…GSP
wears a fleur de lees on his right calf…he has
walked into the octagon with a mouth
bearing the flag of France on it… just sick. Some Canadian
    my butt…what a phony, GSP and Cote…these
are all about the money…they are only
Canadians when they see money…most of us speak
    English in Canada
but the truth about the french should be exposed
