I agree, even with plastic hands he shouldn’t be allowed to compete. The only way I would even remotely consider it is if the hands were rubber and in the shape of a fist with the gloves on. I wouldn’t want to risk an eye poke, nor a hand that is denser than a regular hand. It is an unfair advantage, now I know he has a disadvantage because he doesn’t have hands but giving him any advantage is just BS. If someone fights hurt or with a disadvantage that is on them but to give them an advantage is not right regardless of any circumstances. In my gym there is a guy that spars with us who has a prosthetic hand, we have to tape the fingers into a fist once the gloves go on and you can tell the difference in power, there is metal behind all the hand and inside the hand to help grab things and for support. I have no problems sparing with him but I would never fight him PERIOD.
