UFC Announces Meisha Tate vs Cat Zingano at TUF 17 Finale | UFC NEWS
The UFC has confirmed it’s second women’s fight. On April 13, Meisha Tate will make her UFC debut against Cat Zingano at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Tate is coming off a submission armbar win against Julie Kedzie in August after losing to a first round armbar in her previous fight against Ronda Rousey. Cat Zingano, an Invicta import, has a perfect 7-0 record, finishing all but one of her pro fights. This event airs on FX and FUEL TV.

IM GLAD THE UFC DECIDED TO FINALLY PUT WOMEN TO FIGHT FOR THEIR ORGANIZATION. THEY BE THROWING DOWN & GETTING DOWN, JUST AS EXCITING AS THE DUDES, SOMETIMES THERE EVEN MORE EXCITING FOR ME. MEISHAS LAST FIGHT AGAINST Julie WAS GOOD. I ENJOYED IT ALOT. TATE GOT ALOT OF HEART, TOO. CANT WAIT TO SEE HER & ROUSEY GET DOWN AGAIN.
thats ****ing Right. these women THROW DOWN. its going to be awhile until they get the total package of respect BUT the casual fan is now lucky enough to get to see some really talented women in the biggest stage!
the only problem is I hope they do not get UFC octagon jitters, and people take it for their actual fighting style… Women can fight with technique and power!
Ummmm woman belong in the kitchen not the cage..
