UFC 157 Results: McGee Outclasses Neer To Earn Victory In Welterweight Debut | UFC NEWS
In the second bout of the UFC 157 pay-per-view card another former middleweight made his welterweight debut in the form of TUF 7 winner, Court McGee.
In the first frame of action, McGee simply outclassed Josh Neer on the feet for the majority of the round and with a liver kick almost put Neer away. Josh Neer survived the frame and went to his corner broken and battered but ready to make it a fight in the second.
Midway through the second round, McGee started to slow allowing Neer to get back into the fight and deliver some damage of his own, but the fight went the distance and in the third frame of action a fatigued McGee resorted to a wrestling based strategy and he out grappled Neer to earn a decision victory.
Final Result:
Court McGee def. Josh Neer via unanimous decision.
