UFC 155: Dos Santos Vs. Velasquez 2 Drug Test Results
There were 24 fighters on the December UFC 155 card, all of the fighters were tested for performance enhancing drugs and recreational/drugs of abuse, and all 24 fighters passed with flying colors and came up clean. Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer released the results today.
Well I guess that crushes undefeated heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury’s twitter comment calling the UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez a “midget on Steroids.” Test results show that’s not the case and the UFC executives and president can sleep well tonight knowing all their fighters were clean.
It was a night of great fights where we witnessed Cain Velasquez regain his heavyweight championship in a one sided beat down of Junior Dos Santos in the main event. Also in the Co-main event Jim Miller defeated Joe Lauzon in the “fight of the night,” in one of the best fights of the year. Joe was beat up, cut up, and bloody but never stopped fighting and almost finished the fight himself a few times.
It was a great night for the sport and it’s always good to see all the fighters come up clean. Although it’s a brutal sport the fighters are good people and good role models and with results like these it shows you can perform at an elite level with just hard work and lots of training.
