UFC 152 Medical Suspensions I MMA News
The stacked UFC 152 card gave fight fans a lot of memorable moments. It also gave us two great title fights that crowned the first ever flyweight champion and also extended the legacy of a young phenom, respectively.
Jon Jones successfully defended his title in the main event against Vitor Belfort with a fourth round americana. Jones almost tasted his first true defeat, however, as Belfort locked in a solid armbar early in the fight that may have done some serious damage to Jones’ arm. Either way, Jones proved why he is the champion and one of the best of all time.
As for the medical suspensions, most fighters were given a 14-day probationary period just to rest and allow the bumps and bruises to heal. Among the worst were knockout victims, Simeon Thoreson and Charles Oliveira who have minimum suspensions of 60 days.

stupid move is stupid
I thought Belfort said he had his hand broken, injured ribs and foot as well… EXCUSES?
yeah he did going into the fight! he had to drop out of the wanderlei fight because of his hand. he was cleared for this fight but doesnt mean he is 100% if you have ever broken bones before or injured your ribs then you would know that even though you are medically cleared for the fact that the injury is not getting worse does not mean that you cant feel it and it still doesnt hurt. you keyboard warriors s#!% me! i’m sure you wouldn’t be able to step in with jones at all.
they are only suspended for injuries sustained during the fight. anything that happens outside of the cage is not documented yo.
