UFC 146 | Struve vs. Hunt Expected As Pay-Per-View Opener In All Heavyweight Line Up

A “Big” card is an understatement if you were to use the adjective to describe the pay-per-view portion of UFC 146. As recently announced by UFC officials, the entirety of the UFC 146 PPV card will feature nothing but heavyweights.
The latest addition to the lineup is a previously unannounced bout between Stefan Struve and Mark Hunt.
UFC 146 is set to go down on May 26 at Las Vegas Nevada’s MGM Grand Garden Arena. The heavyweight title fighter between Alistair Overeem and Junior Dos Santos will serve as the evening’s main event.
Stefan Struve last saw action last month during the inaugural UFC on FUEL TV card. In the bout he was able to take out Dave Herman in the second round via TKO. The win was his fourth in his last five UFC outings.
Standing opposite Struve will be the very dangerous, Mark Hunt. Hunt has proved to be a very dangerous man as of late. The K-1 Grand Prix champion entered the UFC with a loss to Sean McCorkle but has since bounced back with three straight wins inside the Octagon. He last saw action knocking out Cheick Kongo in the very first round of their UFC 144 contest.

I know! I am more excited for this card than Jones vs Evans card.
This is such a horrible matchup, what are the matchmakers thinking???
>huge kickboxer vs huge kickboxer<
Where's the problem?
Holy **** is this card ever good.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
I thought Mayhem vs Dollaway was on the UFC 146 card……
and dunham v barboza is good enough for ppv slot too. they only have 3 hw fights worthy of the ppv right now.
come on dude roy and big foot thats one mir and velasquez this one and dos santos and overeem this is a nice card
Wow I cannot believe no one else commented on how epic this card is………………
cant underestimate struves subs but i think hunt will get the KO.
This card is HUGE!!! I think Hunt will KO him with ease. I mean Hunt could put a normal man to sleep with a jab.
I think yer disrespecting Struves heart & ability .
The crazy big bastard will fight until the morning if they let him .
It only takes one punch from either big man to end a fight but if Hunt doesnt land the “Hail Mary” ?… then I think big Struve has too many tools in his locker for him .
Great Card!
I gotta go with Hunt on this one.
I think Pat Barry said in an interview that Hunt was better than him. If Pat Barry can give Struve trouble then Hunt can too. Hunt by TKO!
I’ll be honest though I thought Kongo would beat Hunt.
I would’ve too cept then Hunt came out looking in the best shape he’s been in for years. He’s hitting a second peak like Hendo.
Same here!! Can’t wait for this card
Hell yeah!!! This is another KO for Hunt!
****ing sick card. Lots of sweet fights. Can;t wait
**** UFC testing John, nigga bones jones buying power, 145 is a shit card.
