UFC 144 Video | Bader Not Looking To Stand And Trade With Rampage

“I’m going to be smart about it. I’m not just going to go out there and trade punches with Rampage. I’m not afraid to go out there and strike with him, but I’m going to mix up every bit of my MMA training. I’m going to use some wrestling, I’m going to use some kicks, I’m going to use my boxing. If I go in there just trying to take him down, that’s not going to work. I’ve got to mix up everything. “

Ryan Bader tells the UFC production crew that he is not afraid to stand and bang with his upcoming opponent Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, but that he isn’t planning on doing so.

Anyone surprised?

  1. Xaninho says:

Oh nice….So we’ll see Bader humping Rampage for 3 rounds..Great…That’s a fight I can use for a toiletbreak then.

    • JC says:

You are a dumb ****. Oh this isnt mid 90′s UFC where a bunch of good ole boys just stand and swing, so it automatically means that its a lay and pray…

Guys need to learn to respect the ground game. Bader goes for finishes and so does Rampage. If it goes to the ground, Bader is going to try and KO, he isnt going to lay on top of him and hope the ref doesnt stand them back up.

      • Xaninho says:

So who died and made you the all-knowing MMA lord? You ****ing degenerate nutsacklicking asswipe mother****er… :)

I have nothing against a good groundgame, but I have noticed once wrestlers say they will execute takedowns it means Lay n Pray, oh lord of the ****nuts.

  2. JoeR. says:

i just hope someone get K’dTFO and it dont go to the judges. i love rampage but do think bader has the KO power to drop him. hopefully bader has bigger balls than rashad and actually TRIES to.

  3. Jb says:

Bader is about to get cut, expect him to point this one out.

  4. cody says:

dude pages wrestling looked awesome against jones and hamill i dont think bader will be able to take him down hes probably gonna be forced to trade with him fingers crossed

  5. Ninja Oreo Dollop says:

If Rampage can avoid the majority of Jone’s takedowns, how will Bader do better?

This sounds like the makings for Rampage vs Hamil.

  6. Pijan says:

Of course Bader wouldn’t want to make this an interesting fight. He knocked out two guys with weak chins and a few nobody’s. He just wants to feel like a wrestler again after tapping out to two guillotine’s, what a *****. Don’t see it happening but hopefully Rampage knocks his ass out.
