not really surprising. He knows he could never hold a title as long as gsp is on top of the heap. he’s stuck in a bad spot…NEAR the top…but not AT the top…and there is no room on the top rung of the ladder for him. he’s just outside the top 5 guys, and he may turn into a high level gatekeeper over time. he’ll win one, then lose one…and will never wear a strap. IMHO.
