    Leben is bellator champ material

  6. Nick says:

Time to win money off of dumbass kids who don’t realize that in the US we are getting this by tape delay

  7. Brave Reply says:

I thought it was a DR stoppage? Did Lebens corner throw in the towel?

  8. Tyler Kartler says:

If you guys are calling Leben a gatekeeper and you didn’t even watch the fight… then you are retarded.. I’d like to see them finish this fight sometime in the near future.. Both guys put each other in danger and it sucks it had to end in between rounds.. Leben took Munoz down which was crazy.. no way does Leben suck at all

    • Kalirudeboy says:

Leben put up a good fight, but he took a severe beatdown, it wasn’t even close. That is why he couldn’t continue, that is why he said he couldn’t see in front of the doctor and his corner. He had no “go” left in him after that beating he took.

    • ryan says:

this fight was not close. munoz took the exact same shots that wanderlei took and he didn’t even buckle. i mean yeah, leben took him down; but he couldn’t keep him down. munoz was beating his ass on the feet and on the ground. leben looked gassed after the first round. glad this one got stopped because leben was taking a beating even though he put up a fight. munoz will probably get the winner of bisping vs. mayhem for a #1 contender matchup.

  9. Munoz legit top 10 mw..

  10. P R O D I G Y says:

Nobody is talking abt my guy Barao!! he is a beast Dominick Cruz is holding his belt. belee dat!!

  11. El Charlie says:

    Pitbull !!!!!

  12. me says:

u guys are all fools!!! Leben is a beast, and did bot take a beating! He clearly could not see from his eye,not because of the cut above it neither..bellator material huh! Really! Go back to your bellator if you think leben is not a GREAT fighter,it was clear that Munoz was scared of his power! Get a life you keyboard tuff guys!

    • Ninja Oreo Dollop says:

Were you watching the same fight? Although Leben put up a good fight he took a whupping. You could tell because Leben went for submissions. I don’t remember the last time I ever saw Leben go for submissions, he likes to stand and bang. But, yeah Leben is a really good fighter but Munoz speed and power was too much for him. I think it’s a compliment to say he would dominate Belator btw… Belator although not UFC, they have good fighters and really entertaining fights. You should give it a chance.

  13. ThaGreenBandit says:

Munoz and Phael would be something I’d like to see, just because I think Munoz’s wrestling is good enough to nullify that of Phael’s, and he has the power in his hands to end the fight. His G&P is way more punishing than Sonnen’s and it would be fun to watch him get pounded out

  14. ryan says:

munoz realy annoyed me in that fight he was saying im going to bring it stand and throw bombs just like chris does he fought him to not lose not to win like leben said but realy dont say u will stand when u wont and if leben didnt gas he would of beat him in my opinion munoz isnt all that good hope u get back leben, just hhate it when people hold u on the cage and lie on top of u on the matt realy sucks! i hope bisping beats mayhem and then teaches that munoz a lesson bisping wont gas out or be held against the cage!!!!!!

I hate the lay ‘n’ pray fighters probably just as much as you do, but this was no lay ‘n’ pray man. Munoz wasn’t just laying on him, he dropped serious bombs on Leben. He tried to finish the fight and succeeded.

Munoz is on a 6 fight win streak if I’m not mistaken, so I’d say Munoz-Sonnen or Munoz-Silva next .

  15. Gack says:

I hate to say this, but I was really honestly disappointed in the main event. I am a fan of both Leben and Munoz. Probably more of a Crippler fan though, and was excited to see this fight, particularly after watching the prefight interviews where they BOTH talked about the BANGING and Dropping BOMBS. Munoz said he was going to stand and bang and in NO time at all in the very first round he’s dropping for a take down! Not that the ground war was uneventful like a lot of the grappling can be…the ones that grapple to eek out decisions. These guys both had intentions of finishing the fights on the ground, but still…I was expecting BOTH to be standing and banging.

Secondly…I was really at a bit of a loss for Leben’s conditioning!? He was gassed after the first freak’n round! I think personally, that by the time the second round was done, he knew he was down two rounds, and getting his ass kicked, and totally gassed out…that he exaggerated his injury to get a stoppage. No doubt he was cut. That was obvious. From the replay, they showed a few good rights did land and cut his brow, but come on man…I’ve seen SHIT TONS worse cuts. I don’t believe for a second he had any real visual loss. Maybe when there was blood in the eye, but during the break after round two and they cleaned it out…I believe his vision was fine, and that he knew he was gassed with nothing much more to give and Munoz was still strong as ever and just took advantage of the cut to get a stoppage.

Look at his behavior after the stoppage. If he had an injury that was severe enough to cause a LOSS of vision that he claimed, I think he would have been more freak’n concerned about it and it would have been obvious. For example…if I lost vision in my eye…I’d be a bit freak’n concerned. I’d be squinting my good eye…trying to evaluate the loss, trying to see what I COULD see out it…something along those lines, but Leben didn’t show ANY signs of neither CONCERN or deficit. His close ups showed just a cut over his brow, his left eye was WIDE OPEN and clear and tracking appropriately as he looked around the ring and elsewhere. NO evidence whatsoever of a LOSS OF VISION. No obvious trauma to the eye itself, No obvious behavior to indicate a deficit, none at all. He gassed, knew he had lost, had nothing more to give and just gave up and cut his losses and exploited the cut as his way out. At least, that’s what I BELIEVE. I really hate to say that too, because I am very seriously a Crippler fan! But I really, really feel like he gave up and that is just something I would never have expected from him.

    • Justa Thought says:

Takes a big man to admit your boy had it put too him. I also may agree about your thoughts to some extent. That said, Munoz would have had almost anyone in that fight throwing in the towel. I don’t think “Bombs” are enough to define what Munoz was raining down on The Crippler. It’s ok to be smart enough to know when you are not going to win the fight and not risk career ending injury. Chris is tough, he’ll be back.

  16. anthony says:

    rematch betwwen munoz and leben.

  17. Justa Thought says:

I would also love to see Munoz vs Sonnen. That G&P was nasty. Munoz controls his power so well. Leban is a tough customer but imo that fight was propery stopped. I’m sure some Middleweight Contenders were watching that fight pretty intently. And an Alves RNC to boot. Good night of fights all around.

  18. Xaninho says:

Barao is a killer! That gym Nova Uniao is phenomenal…I seen another young fighter from there fighting in Bellator. Eduardo Dantas just 20 years old, insane Muay-Thai….And he reached the finals.
