UFC 137 Fight Card Update: Tim Credeur Injured, Brad Tavares Books Dustin Jacoby

That pesky injury bug strikes again and this time has taken out UFC middleweight fighter Tim Credeur, who was scheduled to face Brad Tavares on this month’s UFC 137 preliminary card.
In his place comes UFC newcomer Dustin Jacoby.
“UFC 137: St. Pierre vs. Diaz” is set to take place on October 29th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The pay-per-view event will feature a welterweight championship bout in the evening’s main event between George St Pierre and Carlos Condit.
The Hawaiian born Tavares recently suffered his first professional loss at the hands of his UFC 132 opponent, Aaron Simpson this past July. The loss took his overall record to 7-1 with two of his wins coming in the UFC.
Jacoby is the UFC’s latest acquisition from the “HIT Squad”. He brings in a six-fight unbeaten professional MMA record.
