UFC 136 Weigh-ins Ceremony Takes Place This Friday From Houston’s Toyota Center

The Weigh-ins ceremony for this weekend’s UFC 136 event are set to take place this Friday at Houston’s Toyota Center.

Fighters are expected to hit the scales and make their bouts official starting at 4 p.m. local time (5.pm. ET) and fans are encouraged to attend the free and open to the public event.

UFC 136 is set for October 8 from the Toyota Center in Houston Texas. The pay-per-view event will feature a main event for the UFC’s lightweight title in a trilogy fight between champion Frankie Edgar and Challenger Gray Maynard as well as a featherweight title fight in the co-main event slot between Jose Aldo and Kenny Florian.

The full UFC 136 card includes:

• Champ Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard (for lightweight title)
• Champ Jose Aldo vs. Kenny Florian (for featherweight title)
• Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann
• Melvin Guillard vs. Joe Lauzon
• Leonard Garcia vs. Nam Phan

• Demian Maia vs. Jorge Santiago
• Anthony Pettis vs. Jeremy Stephens

• Joey Beltran vs. Stipe Miocic
• Darren Elkins vs. Tiequan Zhang
• Eric Schafer vs. Aaron Simpson
• Steve Cantwell vs. Mike Massenzio
