Frank Trigg Released By HDNet For Alleged Spousal Abuse & Adultery

Former UFC fighter, Frank Trigg has been relieved of his duties as a commentator for HDNet for alleged domestic violence and having an improper relationship with a co-worker.
Trigg allegedly choked his wife unconscious in front of their children back in October of 2011, and is now in the middle of a very messy divorce.
As if that wasn’t enough, he was also found to be having an affair with a 23 year old assistant producer for HDNet. The company did not approve of the improper relationship he was having or the allegations of abuse, and in turn they have fired him from his job as a commentator.
Trigg, who was also a former commentator for Pride, did the play-by-play commentary for several different MMA promotions that aired on the popular HDNet channel, including Dream and Legacy Fighting Championships.
Many are used to seeing Trigg side by side with the animated Michael Schiavello, but for now Schiavello will be without his friend.
There are many unanswered questions at this time, and Trigg has chosen not to comment on any of it, only stating, “he does not comment on personal business”.

If by “penned a column for years” you mean “a few months, and it was surprisingly well received and popular”, you’d be correct. Dude allegedly roughed up his wife (which, for all intents and purposes, may very well be true), and for that he deserves no respect… But I’m astonished that a site such as bjpenn.com would run such gossipy news with the only “source” being a website such as thedirty.com – yet had the sense to NOT source them. Yahoo fell into the same hits-craving trap. It’s embarrassing for both sites, and I’m somewhat disappointed that I’ll no longer be frequenting this site or yahoo.

Trigg can’t get a relivent win so he takes it out on his wife, sad case. And he was always talking about his wife and family with the upmost, no ones perfect but damnit man.
