TONIGHT!! BJPenn.com Radio Adds Cung Le and Joe Riggs to Already Stacked Lineup

In addition to the already stacked lineup of guests, BJPenn.com Radio has also added former UFC/Strikeforce veteran Joe Riggs and UFC middleweight Cung Le to it’s 12th episode. Le and Riggs add to a guest roundup that includes Liz Carmouche, Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann.

Riggs is an 11 year veteran of the sport that has competed in nearly every major organization in the world including the UFC, Strikeforce, WEC and Bellator. The Team Curran fighter is currently riding a 4-fight win streak with back to back knockouts but his most significant fight is his stance on the battle against bullying in schools. We will talk with Riggs about his anti-bullying program, recent win streak, memorable battles with Matt Hughes and Nick Diaz and more.

Le returns to the Octagon in two weeks to battle former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin at UFC on Fuel TV 6. The event will feature the UFC’s first trip to China and Le’s third fight in the UFC, he is currently 1-1 in the organization. Le is also starring in the upcoming film “Dragon Eyes” alongside Jean-Claud Van Damme.

A former United States Marine, Carmouche has established herself as one of the strongest bantamweight fighters in all of Women’s MMA. Last year, Carmouche came incredibly close to defeating then Strikeforce champion Marloes Coenen before getting caught in a fourth round triangle choke. Fresh off a victory over deadly striker Kaitlin Young at Invicta FC 2, Carmouche was scheduled to face Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann for Strikeforce in December before the show was ultimately cancelled.

Hendricks and Kampmann are just three weeks away from facing off against one another in Montreal at UFC 154 in a bout that could determine the next contender at 170-lbs. The main event of that fight card features an undisputed welterweight title unification bout between returning champion, Georges St-Pierre and interim champ Carlos Condit. Hendricks enters this fight with back to back top 10 victories, a first round knockout of Jon Fitch and a tough split decision win over Josh Koscheck. Kampmann also comes in with a string of victories over Jake Ellenberger, Thiago Alves and Rick Story.

As usual the show will begin promptly at 6:30pm Eastern.
