TICKETS FOR UFC® 153: ALDO VS KOCH ON SALE TODAY | UFC NEWS


The stars of UFC® 153: ALDO vs KOCH took over Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday, launching ticket sales and officially kicking off the countdown to the event on October 13 at the HSBC Arena.

UFC featherweight champion José Aldo, No.1 contender Erik Koch, co-main event middleweight Vitor Belfort, Glover Teixeira and ‘Rampage’ Jackson spent time with Brazilian media and posed for a special photoshoot at “Arcos da Lapa”, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, ahead of the Ultimate Fighting Championship® organization’s third event in Rio.

UFC 153 will be the fourth Brazilian UFC event in just over a year and will be headlined by UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (21-1-0) colliding with young American talent Erik Koch (13-1-0). In the co-main attraction iconic Brazilian puncher Vitor Belfort (21-9-0) faces off against the dangerous Alan Belcher (17-5-0) in a middleweight battle and, in a special attraction at light heavyweight, one of the biggest names in mixed martial arts history – twice-over world champion ‘Rampage’ Jackson (32-9-0) – takes on the challenge of the feared Brazilian contender Glover Teixeira (18-2-0).

Brazilian welterweights Erick Silva (14-2-0, 1NC) and Demian Maia (16-4-0) round out the main card, taking on former UFC title challenger Jon Fitch and Rick ‘the Horror’ Story, respectively.
