Three More Fighters Released By UFC
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has removed a number of fighters’ profiles from their website over the last couple weeks, and three more fighters who last fought on the UFC Fight Night 27 card have been removed today.

UFC fighters, Benny Alloway, Papy Abedi and James Head have all been cut from the organization, it was reported earlier today.
Benny Alloway (12-5), a welterweight fighter from Australia, has lost his last two fights. Despite a KO win in his UFC debut, Alloway lost convincingly to Ryan LaFlare at UFC on Fuel TV 9 and submitted to Zak Cummings at UFC Fight Night 27.
When Papy Abedi (9-3) made his UFC debut at UFC 138 against Thiago Alves, the world watched what the thought would be one of the more highly anticipated prospects defeating a former welterweight title contender. Instead, Abedi submitted to Alves in the first round, the first loss of Abedi’s 1-3 run in the UFC. With his most recent loss at UFC Fight Night 27, the UFC has decided to cut its losses with the underwhelming performances of Abedi.
James Head (9-4) is coming off two consecutive losses, bringing his overall UFC record to 3-2. The welterweight from Oklahoma City was stopped in the first round of both his last fights, first via TKO against Mike Pyle at The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale and most recently by submission to Jason High at UFC Fight Night 27.
News of these three cuts comes after news that Ryan Couture, the son of UFC Hall of Fame fighter Randy Couture, was cut from the UFC as well.
